On 2/23/16 at 40 weeks 2 days, my doctor decided to sweep my membranes. She did so around 4:15 pm, and then I went home. Mild contractions started at 7pm, and by 1am contractions were 4 1/2 minutes apart, so we packed up the car and drove 45 minutes to the hospital. when we got there around 1:45, they checked me, and admitted me since I was over 40 weeks.
