Benedryl please help

I haven't been able to sleep lately and it's really bad like I really can't sleep like it will be 630 am and I'll still be up my body will be so tired but my brain will not turn off .... So I went to my doctor and she suggested that I take one benedryl every night before I lay down and it will make me sleep but eversince I took one I woke up yesterday and my lil princess had been very inactive.... What do I due it's worring me I usually wake up to her kicking me .... But nothing please give me insight thanks... Oh I'm 23 weeks tomorrow
