New to sex need help!

So I lost my virginity the other day and it was the most awkward thing ever nothing like in the movies. Me and my boyfriend are both on the plus size and we can't seem to find a comfortable position to have sex. It was almost a big fail. We both get discouraged and then don't feel like doing it. We are both going to try to get healthy and lose weight but any help would be appreciated. Thank you
