Normal period during the first month of pregnancy?

I was suppose to start my period this past Thursday. On that Wednesday night I started spotting very lightly, through Thursday morning. It stopped by lunch. Thought it might be implantation. Took a test that was negative. Period started 2 days late but hasn't quite been normal. It started heavy but is now medium. Having nausea, indigestion, pain in my left ovary and fatigue. Has anyone had a simi-normal period but still be pregnant? Going to an OB after I stop bleeding.
