Pumping exclusively

How long am I suppose to pump for? A friend told me 15-20 mins every 2-3 hours.

I pump for 20 mins and my boobs are still not that soft and my milk is still coming out.

My daughters 5weeks old.

Also, I keep getting clogged milk ducts :/
