Need reassurance, please. I had my first US and I am measuring a week behind. She said it was too early to see a heartbeat. Has anyone else gotten a scan around 6w and not seen a heartbeat, but gone back a few weeks later and everything was okay?

Hi Meg 😊 I thought I was 6weeks, but measured 5 in my 1st scan, didn't see the baby just the yolk sac. I went back 10 days later and I saw the little baby and the heart beat clearly. I'm sure you will be fine... Stay positive. Xx

Yes this is normal. I went to the doctor last week and the lady told me to come back around my 7 th week to see the baby and hear a heart beat

Absolutely normal. Listen to who scanned you. If she's not worried you shouldn't be. A heart beat is usually not heard till in the 6th week. Sometimes 7th. You should see baby next week

Yes I got a scan at 5 weeks 6 days and all I saw was gestational sac and yok sac I went back 9 days later and there was my any with a strong heart beat . Don't panic try to stay away from Google and websites that just scare you.

I was 5weeks and 5days and it was just a yolk sack. Then went back at 7weeks and I had a lovely bright heartbeat.

They thought I was just coming up on 5 weeks Monday of last week... couldn't see a whole lot or hear a heartbeat. Today, a week later I heard the heartbeat and estimated at 7 weeks now. They aren't exact on how long you are, they'll change it a couple times. They have changed it probably 3 times for me now.  so don't worry!!

Yes with my son a week later I heard heart beat but also have that done to me when I had a miscarage
