Birth Control

I recently started taking birth control to help with the pain that comes along with my period. I decided to share with my mom and she proceed to freak out and tell me that my aunt and my moms best friend are having trouble convincing because they were on BC. She has been trying everything to get me off of it. I can't find anything that says weather or not it causes problems when trying to convince. I just want to know if anyone has any information about it. Please help if you can
