Is this too young??

I'll be due in May. My son will be about 2 months old when we go on vacation. We are going to the beach in July. Would 2 months be too young to introduce him to the sand and the pool and maybe the ocean?

We took my youngest (a preemie!) to the beach with us at 4ish months old. We kept him in the shade with us but he napped super well on the warm sand. He also went to our resort's pool. Target usually sells full body swim suits for newborns, get one of those, a hat, and an umbrella.

Yes. Too young. With barely 2 month old your Baby is still very sensitive and vulnerable. Speak to your doc! I didn't want to go on vaccation with a newborn. After 3 months it's MUCH easier.... Pool water isn't recommendet because of chlorine in the water. Sand is probably to hot for your newborn. You need to protect your newborn from the sun. .... I would go 4-6 weeks later - much easier and still summer.

I'm doing the same. Due in May and beach trip inJuly  for my bday, only thing is the sun. Bring an umbrella and only keep them out there for short periods of time, they can't handle an all day beach day.

Definitely not, but be careful of the sun.  You can get swimsuits that cover their chests too.  Have fun!
