I can't catch a break...

Laura
My daughter was born January 13. From the beginning I have struggled with low supply. The day after we brought her home from the hospital we had to take her to the ER because she was not peeing or pooping. I had to start supplementing with formula at that point. Then at her first doctor's appointment she had lost too much weight so I had to increase the amount I was supplementing and started pumping after every time she ate. I tried every food that was supposed to increase supply, drank boat loads of Mother's Milk Tea, and took herbs. I saw a lactation consultant many times. Despite all of this I still can't make enough milk to exclusively breastfeed. Every time I feed my daughter I breastfeed for about 45 minutes, then make and give her a bottle, then pump for 15 minutes. By the time I'm done with all of this it takes around 1 and a half to 2 hours! And since she eats about every 3 hours, I only have about an hour between feedings, which leaves me very little time to do anything let alone leave the house. I have been doing this whole routine for almost 7 weeks now.
Now on top of that, it looks like my daughter is MSPI... Now I have to completely change my diet. I just can't catch a break!
When I was pregnant it never crossed my mind that I wouldn't be able to breastfeed. I know breastmilk is what's best for her and some breastmilk is better than none. But I'm not sure how long I can keep this up...
