Induction - what to expect?

Induction set. What should I expect? TIA!

For me I went in a 6pm to have cervadil placed to soften my cervix and then at 6am they took it out, I was able to shower and then by I think 7am they started pitocin. Around 9 I hadn't had many contractions so they upped the pitocin. Within a half hour I started feeling the contractions. And then by 10 (a half hour after I started feeling them) they we almost unbearable. I got an epidural at 10:50, I had planned on going natural but there was now way with how fast they came on. They checked me after the epidural and I was only a 3. At around 4 I was checked again and was still at a 3 so they called for the doctor to see what then next step was since I wasn't progressing. When she came in around 4:20, I was an 8. Crazy! I was fully dialated around 5:45 and baby was born at 6:21.

I had to be induced because my lil guy was a week late.. They started an IV on my with potosin(sp?) To help soften thw cervix and then they broke my water.. Oh wow was it strange felt a pinch and then bam!!! Its alot too.. Then contractions... I ended up having to have a c section coz i wasnt dilating and my lil ones heart rate was worrisome.. But other then that being induced isnt that bad!
