Help...How do I make Friends

Been in U.S for almost 5yrs from Africa. I am currently working and have a loving Boyfriend but we are in a long distance relationship which is working out fine for now until I am able to relocate closer to him based on our agreement. I'm comfortable in every other aspect of my life for now.

My problem is I don't have a single person outside my Boyfriend I could call a Friend. It's making me depress.

Last Saturday, I cried my eyes out as I left the Church after a Women's program because I realized, haven been attending the Church for a while(11mths) I haven't been able to have some one who I could call friend or will even notice when I'm not in church.

Even at work I have no friend as I am the only female working mostly among Male Colleagues in I.T Dept .

I care about people and will love to have a true Female friend or 2 I couldn't relate with. I don't care about Race,Age or Marital Status.

What do I do? I need advice or guidance... Thanks!
