What's the best way to test with OPK?

I know to not use FMU, but if I start getting a faint line how often should I test? Is it every twelve hours? I've seen a lot of posts with people having a faint lines for days just don't want to waste any tests? Thanks ladies!

After about four days with that first response I added some dollar store tests so I could test 2x a day and not miss my surge. Worked great!

This cycle i bought one of those bulk packages of opks/hpts off amazon. And i knew i wanted to really find out like when i would get my first positive to my last. So i would test 2x a day normally 1x in the morning & 1x later in the day. Then a day or two before it predicted i would ovulate i started testing 3x a day morning,  afternoon,  & night. I still have plenty of opks left.
