Vbac?

So this is my second pregnancy. My daughter will be 2 in april and I am currently 26 weeks pregnant. Went into labor with my daughter at 37 weeks and 5 days. Has irregular contractions at home for 2 days. Finally my contractions became regular and I got admitted into the hospital. I dialated only to 8 cm and stopped. I got a fever was vomiting and was at a stand still for about 12 hours. Finally after much exhaustion the doctor recommended a csection. I did it because i was running a fever and at that point i wanted the baby out safe. Any of you ladies experience a vbac after something similar?
