Frustrated with inlaws
So my husband and I have been slowly redoing areas of our house - adding on, redoing the kitchen, and this weekend we are prepping for the hardwood flooring. His family (he's the oldest of 5 brothers) all live within 5 min of us, including his parents and NOT ONCE have any of them offered to help, to watch the kids while stuff is going on, etc.
granted, I know with my husband being a General Contractor they just assume he can do it all, but he's not superman! I just frustrates me because they all know how hard he works to keep his business going, take care of and provide for our family, and be there for everyone else. It just seems like they're all too wrapped up in themselves (including the one bro that works for him and has the skills to help!) I think they assume he lives and breathes to work and that's it.
Anyway, vent over, just frustrated with the lack of thought for others when he is always so quick to be helpful to them.
