How far along did you buy big things??

Im 13w5d, i haven't brought anything much yet but im planning on going shopping for the big items (crib, change table, capsule and stroller etc) with my mum in the next few weeks so then we can save up a bit more for clothes and smaller thimgs when we find out the gender. My thoughts are miscarriage chances are low now and also if i was to miscarriage after now i would get pregnant again at some point so i would need the stuff anyway. Has anyone brought there big items this early? I just cant wait to get them!! :)

I am 13 weeks 3 days and we got a great deal on a crib we really liked last weekend! I agree with you that the risk at this point is low enough and I am not high risk myself so if we can spread the purchases out a bit it makes sense financially for us. 😊 Do what makes sense for you!

I'm 14 weeks and we already have our car seat and stroller and we are picking up our crib this week from my Fiances brother.

We already purchased a stroller and using our daughters crib and changing table again. My sister is lending us some big items like bassinet and jumper. We are having a registry and baby shower. My last pregnancy we didn't have to buy anything for baby.

I'm 12 weeks and I'm buying a crib tomorrow! I have the money to buy brand new but I'm wanting to save as much as we can and the crib is only 40 bucks! If say start buying as soon as you feel ready :)

I guess I'm a little early. I am very much a pre planner. Here is my list of items purchased.

I've been buying small things cloth diapers, bottles, socks, etc. Once I'm 15 weeks I plan to start buying the bigger items like car seat and crib.

I'm our main income so it's easier on me to buy something every paycheck rather than waiting until the very end and buying all at once. I just plan on saving the receipts (just in case) and actually opening things closer to due date.

I'm waiting to buy big items for when I know the gender , I started buying gender neutral bottles and onsies . Then I'm buying all different size ranges of diapers too .
