Is this car seat for a newborn okay?

I already have one for him that came with my jogger, but I read everywhere you're not supposed to put them in there just yet because of not enough support or something like that. Would this be a good option? Or can I keep using my baby trend car seat. It's the baby trend jogger/car seat expedition.

Baby trend car seats are safe it's the stroller you are supposed to not use without car seat until 6 months.

I have the new carseat with the alarm that tells you baby is still in vehicle and took it to fire dept and it passed the inpection they were all saying its like a cadillac for a baby & how they all wish we had something like that as babies .

I would get your car seat inspected. Baby trend isn't safe for a newborn 80% of the time because the straps need to be below baby's shoulders and baby trends lowest setting is pretty high

I have this car seat. The graco click connect 30? With the lx base? I love mine, it came with an infant insert.

It's not safe to buy the inserts. It's a safety issue. Check out car seats for littles or something like that for information on car seat safety. The one in the photo should be OK. Graco, chicco, britax are all good brands

I've noticed during pram shopping etc that a lot of them have inserts that you can purchase for newborns that seems to sort out any issues and keep them safer... May be worth investigating?
