Could this be my water breaking?

Question

So I'm 40wks today and I was laying in bed.. I got up to get off and I noticed this trickle came out. Tmi I was naked so I didn't have anything to hold it from dripping. I went to the bathroom and peed right after but didn't have any other leakage. It's been about a half hour and nothing else. Could this be my water

It could be, I would have smelled it, gross I know. When I was unsure I called L&D and the nurse said if I had to wear a pad I needed to come in, otherwise it was not likely to be my water breaking

Could be your waters or it could be your bladder.  Either way check yourself checked out

I'd call your dr...my water never broke on it's own! Dr airways had to break it for me but I've read that some people have a fish of fluids and some just trickle...And contractions may not always start right away!!

It sure could be! Remember even if your water breaks, you have 48 hrs for labor to begin on its own so long as there's no miconium (spelled it wrong I'm sure but it's baby poo) and you can't feel the cord. My water broke with my son with no contractios initially as well. Good luck mama!
