brown spotting?

I'm about 11 dpo and cycle day 34 which is normal for me. My cycles are about 32-37 days. I started having light brown spotting yesterday but no period. When I do spot, it's usually pink and I get my period the day after. I heard brown spotting before expected period could be implantation bleeding. I guess I'm not really late just yet. Just looking for thoughts or similar stories!
