Squirting

It's a gross word, but can you like feel it when you squirt? How can you tell if you did? My SO and I think I did the other night because I like soaked the bed, the sex was amazing and I felt better than I have in a while, but I didn't know what to like look for or pay attention to to know if I actually did or not.
