Late Period?

Hi everyone! I'm new here so I'm unsure on how this works. My period is a week late and I have no pms symptoms except for bloating and constipation. Early in the month I had this weird sensation in my lower right abdomen (kinda felt like a period cramp). Should I be concerned? Thanks in advance.

Have you been stressed at all lately? I've had this same problem multiple times and I thought I was pregnant.. But I realized I was just really stressed. And stressing out over a late period can actually make it later.. Idk if this helps or not but this has just been my experience!

Hi naomi, welcome to glow ive been on here a while and its quite good for reassurance, advice and support. With regards to your above question sometimes you can have a blip in your cycle and run late with no concerns, sometimes you can have issues, and then theres the chance of conception. Have you any medical history in relation to your cycles because if so then maybe youd need to book a doctors appointment but if your normally fit and healthy then id be inclined to take a pregnancy test and rule this out first. If bfp then gp appointment and make sure you eat healthy and take your vitamins ( no vitamin A at all ) if bfn id hold out maybe few more days and then still no af id see your doctor. I'm a virgin actually and I do tend to have long cycles but being a week later has only happened to me once before so I'm worried. I'm always stressed (have really bad anxiety problems) but I don't think it's been any worse than before. I'm going to make adr's appointment this week, I was just wondering if anyone else experienced something similar.
