Itchiness?

I found out I was pregnant on Mothers day, how ironic! For a good 2 weeks before I found out we were expecting my nipples were so dry, red and itchy I couldn't sleep some nights, my scalp and behind my ears were very dry and itchy too. Now I have lumpy rashes down the sides of my tummy and all over my neck. The doctors prescribed emollient body wash and moisturiser and a steroid cream to use sparingly for under my boob - yeah it's that red and sore looking. I didn't rly have skin problems before, has anyone else experienced this? It's driving me nuts!
