Tampon question

So I'm thirteen and have had my period for about a year and a half and for the past couple months or so I've been using tampons, they go in easily, but hurt to take out. I make sure that it's less than eight hours and that they are soaked until I take it out and remove at the same angle I inserted it, but nothing seems to work. Any advice on how to take it out easier?(I use the smallest absorbency and tampax pearl light)
