I need help

I am 13 years young and I used to have a boyfriend. Hitting me and taking my stuff I thought he was playing...... Then I told him to stop but he didn't.  Not to mention he kept asking me for sex I told him not until marriage. But I really didn't love him but he kept asking me so I said yes than broke up with him. And went back together trying to love him just a little. But this last time he started hitting me so I just started to cry cause I was so pissed. He started talking about my family members. I feel bad about dating someone I didn't love yet. Was I wrong?
