This will probably be a very controversial topic.... But first some back story, currently my fiance and I are expecting our first (surprise) baby, she's due in May.  We had plans to get married and to save to buy a home, well i found out I was pregnant and now baby is our main concern. So for now we are just trying to move into an apartment... He just lost his job and recently found another, but with us moving into an apartment, all of our expenses (cars, gas, groceries, credit card bills) im terrified we will be scraping by . We wouldnt move unless it was not absolutely necessary, which it is because my family/home life is crazy, so we need a stable environment together as a family. And ive NEVER ever wanted to depend on the system.... Do you guys think it would be wrong for us to apply for the foodstamp program? Neither of us have ever gotten government assistance but with so many more expenses headed our way in the near future im worried :/
