I am 22 and still suffering from more than occasional adult acne. I have a very strict skin care regimen and have minimized what I do have but it is still an overwhelming amount to look at. I have tried just about every face wash and natural remedy you can imagine, but I have yet to find a cure myself and have decided to seek out the help of a professional. I have a feeling that he/she will recommend acutane or some off brand of the same drug for me but my fear is that I will suffer with similar side effects as my mother did (which are terrible liver problems/abdominal pain). Does anyone have any suggestions as to an alternative to acutane that they have had success with? I am open to any suggestions! Also any suggestions for acne dark spots and scarring is greatly appreciated as well!
