Who will be taking care of your animals / household , etc. when you go into labor?

Trying to figure out who is going to hold down my fort when I am gone!!!

MIL and FIL are coming up to take care of our dog and 18 month old son

My mother in law normally comes and stays at our house while we are gone. I am due during her final exams for school though so my parents may have to come get the dogs and the cat will have someone pop in to check on him while we're gone.

We only have cats, but between all of my in-laws (his parents and brothers) they will be taken care of. I'm sure my MIL will be at our house every day while I'm in the hospital making sure our house is in tip-top shape for baby to come home to, so our cats will have plenty of attention and food while we are away.

As long as we are only there for 48 hours they'll be fine outside. I have huge dogs. Probably have my sister go by and feed them. Family members can do it I'm sure.

I was induced and had a regular check up earlier that day before I was sent to the hospital. Once my dr sent me to the hospital I called my parents, who live about an hour away, and they came and stayed at our house with our two dogs and cat. My dad also did several miles with the dogs before we came home a couple days later. Good luck!

It all depends on who is in town when I go into labor. My husbands family plans on coming around my due date but I have a feeling I'll be late having my son. I'm going to have my entire house baby ready and clean up until I go into labor. I also only have cats so they don't need daily supervision. If anything, I'll send my husband home or I'll have a friend come over to check on my furbabies.
