Nipple piercings..?

Has anyone had any success with pumping and having nipple piercings?

I have had mine for almost 2years, I am small chested so me and my husband love them to give my Amal boobs a little spark lol. I have googled about it where some women have said they just take them out before pumping/feeding and put back in after. I really don't want to lose mine, so I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with them and can give a little advice?!

I was taking mine out and putting them back in each time, that got old extremely fast and I decided just to take them out and leave them out. I miss them but the hassle I went through to keep them was not worth it especially since we want to try for another baby when our daughter turns 5 months old.

I took mine out I just thought it was best. My doctor told me that in some cases it could increase the milk flow and you may not be able to breast feed newborn. I just decided for myself it would be all around better to just remove them and have them redone at a later time! But I also know my best friend who has had success feeding with them just need to be extra cautious about infections and keeping them clean!

My mom is a lactation consultant. She has helped women with nipple piercings. They have done great at breastfeeding though sometimes milk squirts out the holes :) it should be fine to keep them as long as you don't have them in while a baby is sucking on your nipple :)

I'm also in the same boat. I'm thinking  about just taking  mine out until I'm done breastfeeding  and pumping. I heard they have special  rings to so the baby won't choke
