CONFUSED HELP!

I got 4 postive pregnancy test. I went to the doctors today at 4pm I peed before I left and it was an hour drive to the doctors. I got in they made me pee in a cup and did a test there for them self's and said it was negative. Could it just be because I didn't hold my pee and it was mid day? And I drank water too.
