Low sperm count & IUI success?

My husband and I have finished our testing with our fertility dr. Turns out everything is good with me and I have a high egg reserve/plenty of eggs and no issues and hubs has a low sperm count. She said anything below 15 million is considered low and his count was 6 million 😕. Has anyone had pregnancy success with their partner having that low of speed count or did you have to use IUI OR IVF?

Has anyone had IUI success? Our fertility Dr. Told us it's only a 8%-10% success rate, I'm wondering if it's even worth it or to just save for IVF.

I can't remember exactly what my husbands sperm count was, but they considered it low. He had a procedure to remove varicose veins on his testicles to try and increase sperm count, but it didn't work. I know fertility treatments are a major investment, but I suggest doing every procedure/test they recommend. We tried for a year holding off on hsgs and iuis and just trying with clomid, didn't work. We decided to go all in, got the hsg, got the hysteroscopy, did clomid, trigger shot, IUI... pregnant the first try!

I know the feeling.  We have been ttc for almost two years for our second.  All is good with me and my husband has a significantly low sperm count.  She told us to try iui but we can't do that because of the cost yet. He is taking fertilaid vitamins which have a very High review of boosting sperm counts.  Out of 500 reviews it had like a 4.4 rating out of 5 stars.  We are trying that first.  I pretty much gave up on my end bc I can't do anything.  It's a helpless feeling.

Depending on your age IUI would be a good first try for a couple where the female is healthy and make just has low Sperm count. It works for those couples and is less expensive.

We did it once and it did not work. I had 3 eggs....4 million post wash.....we were told the rate is the same of it working with 2 million or 200 million but we were not one of the lucky ones.....Good luck!
