Are Braxton Hicks supposed to last the whole day and be constant?

I am 28 weeks pregnant & I've been having BH all day and are constant & feel like mild period cramps. I've tried walking, drinking cold water, laying down and taking a hot shower and nothing seems to make them go away.... This is my 4th baby and never had experienced this with my other pregnancies

I'm 30 weeks and I have them all day everyday since about 24 weeks. My stomach is always hard and tight. My doctor didn't seemed worried.

BH will go away if you move/change positions. Contractions won't!

I have been having them very often but never constant so I'm not worried about it

Mine will almost always last the rest of the day once they start and will intensify if I don't stop whatever I'm doing and lay still. They just started up for this pregnancy a couple days ago but I can't rest as much this time cause I have a toddler and more stuff to do every day than I did last pregnancy.
