Period

Hello ladies. I need some help. So I'm almost done with my period...or so I thought. I put a tampon in earlier this morning and change it during lunch and it was empty with no blood. But just right now I found myself bleeding heavily. I checked myself and my period had gone through. I take out my tampon and there is no blood on it. But my underwear was bloody. Does anyone know if it's normal?
