Emergency contraception

So me and my boyfriend had sex about a week ago and found out the condom broke. We picked up plan B right away and I took it right after. But then later on that night while I took a shower I found some of his semen. Now my period is late by two days is this normal? Also I'm on birth control. Should I get a test or wait a bit?
