Smoking casino?

Question

Thoughts on going to a casino that allows smoking? I was going to go tonight for literally 45 minutes at the most for something to do with friends, but still have the worry of all of that secondhand smoke. I know the question may sound dumb and most of you are just going to yell at me and instantly say no, but I guess part of me figures a short period of time won't matter?

Soon you're going to have a baby and won't be able to see friends as often as you can now. The casino is so well ventilated you can hardly tell. I go there all the time and I will be going for my birthday next week. Nobody will look at you funny for being there anyways. I never get the dirty looks.

Secondhand smoke is worse than actually smoking. I would not recommend it. I'm sure there are other things you guys can go do.

I go to the casino all the time. I doesn't worry me. Think of all the smoke you inhale in any public place even if it's out door. Small amounts won't do anything.

I'm not 100% sure, but I've HEARD and READ that second hand smoke is worse. I really don't know what to tell you. Personally, I wouldn't go. Not only because of all the second hand smoke, but the smell could make you queazy! Maybe your friends could compromise with you and go bowling or something?

I really don't think there's a problem with it. I have a seriously hard time believing second hand smoke is worse for you than smoking yourself (coming from a smoker) and I've been to smoking casinos in Vegas, it's not like it's super concentrated and there's clouds of smoke everywhere just a little smoke from one smoker here and there, it's big and open and ventilated enough that it's really not that bad.
