How bad did your c-section hurt?

Question

I am scheduled to have a c-section in a few weeks and I'm scared to death. I have never even had stitches before! So give it to me straight girls, how bad was it?

I couldn't get out of bed by myself for a few days and it hurt to laugh/cough/sneeze for a couple of weeks. I didn't feel human until two weeks after and normal until after  three weeks

I had twins they were both 7 pounds had them in me to the very end. I actually was working the next day. I had metal staples too medical reasons. The bleeding was annoying. But I was good the next day no pain no nothing. But most mommies say I'm a rarity. Go in there like it's not going to bother you and it won't. Trick your mind into it.

Don't be scared. A planned C-section can be a great expirience. What's the reason for your C-section?

Had 2 so far, 1 emergency and 1 planned. Neither was too bad to be honest, just felt a bit odd the first time I stood up. Best advice I can give is to get up and have a shower as soon as you are able. It makes you feel a million times better. Having another section  with my 3rd in August. Please, please try not to worry too much and just enjoy your precious little one. Xxx

I've had four, I can tell you that it can be a piece of cake for some and absolutely horrible for others. For me it was different each time. Like one of the ladies on here said it is nerve wracking but once you see your baby it's sooo worth it, remember why you're there and just take it slow, relax and enjoy your baby and you will be just fine.

Not bad at all. Very nerve wracking lol even the second time, but not bad at all. I'm 2 weeks post partum from my second csection and I'm not even taking Tylenol, and my incision has already closed up. The first time I had staples but this time they basically glued and taped it lol.

I had one with my twins they were born at 29 weeks and I hemoraged during my c section but the healing process still wasn't very painful for me . I had the dissolvable stitches .

Honestly, it's not that bad. It's the worse in the morning because your stuff from staying in one position for hours. I'm going for #3 in June.  Just try and stay active but don't over do it, if you keep moving even a little bit.... it isn't as bad. You will be ok 💕 you don't even think about it because you can't stop smiling and thinking about your precious little baby ❤

I absolutly love all the comments! I'm getting one, due to baby measuring around 37weeks amd 2,4 kg at 34 weeks and me being a high risk. Totally fine with it, but scared out of my mind of the OR room!
