Update on contractions

rang midwife and luckily there was a midwife out in my area and she came and Seen me, been up since 6am with contractions, getting closer together and then spaced apart, she come and had a chat with me for a good hour and reassured me everything is okay and heading in the right direction, I'm in the latent stage of labour, and handling it really well (according to her)! She's examined me and my cervix has dropped really low down which is brilliant, a tight 4cm dilated (at a squeeze she said) baby is nice and happy in there, but she told me the best thing to do is sit and home and wait it out because I'm handling it really well (if I wasn't handling it or baby wasn't happy she said I'd have to go to hospital) but me and baby are all good!! 40+3 and she's really happy with everything and she said hopefully tomorrow/next day I might be holding my boy!! So ready 😩😩
