Acne breakout?!

After being off of birth control my skin was a little unpredictable, it had been clear the whole time I was on the pill but once I was off I experienced more acne breakouts. I have been off the pill for about 9 months now and my skin and periods are now starting to even out and become more regular. However, I am now experiencing such a bad breakout, little bumps all over my forehead area and some more isolated spots on other areas of my face. All of this seemed to happen over night! What could be the cause? And what could help it clear up? My last period ended around March 1st and I won't be due for another period until early April (I have longer, 40 days ish, cycles). Help! 😩 also, I'm not sure if this is important or not to help solving the problem, but I am sexually active.
