Do u get razor burn when u shave ur "area"? How can I get mine to stop getting it every time?

I shave my "area" every few weeks and every time I get major razor burn....any help on how I can avoid it...any advice on how to sooth it... Pls help

If you shave from your legs up it causes go from your belly down twords your legsand I don't use shaving cream anymore cause I have sensitive but I don't get it any more!

B4 u shave put a warm rag their for like 10 min or when rag is cold then save after u have shaved lay the then cold rag on area it helps me and I don't get bumps no more

I use shaving cream, shave down, and keep it shaved. Like at least once a week usually twice.

If I've been a while without shaving, I'll use an electric trimmer to get rid of the excess. That helps a LOT. With the bladed razor, i always make sure it's a relatively fresh head, going with the grain at first, and then against to smooth it out. If there's any detectable bumps, I'll use Neosporin on them. This is generally helpful for me.

I exfoliate before and use coconut oil or baby oil to shave with. I shave with the hair growth until mostly gone,  then shave the opposite hair growth if I can still feel pricks. I usually get ingrown hairs so I like to apply rubbing alcohol(which is the main ingredient in tend skin) to the top portion and then apply a rich moisturizer or more coconut oil(as it kills bacteria).

I used to use Coochy shave cream and that helped a lot. Now I'm too lazy and just use an electric razor.

Shave the direction the hair grows. It will reduce it. Also use shaving cream. Wired I know but hey whatever works.

I find that using cold water after I shave helps quite a bit. try that!
