The New Zealand flag referendum
I was just wondering what do you all think of John Keys proposal for a new flag?
And to all the people from overseas I would like to know what do you think of when you think of New Zealand
The one on the right is our current flag and the one that our soldiers fought under in world war 1&2 and holds a lot of history but it is also very easily confused with Australia.
On the left the flag New Zealand is being currently asked to vote for or against. It represents New Zealand quite well with the fern everyone knows us for and the stars for the southern cross, the black on one side and white on the fern represents the (pakeha e.g whites) and the the blacks very well although it not showing them integrated together the blue shows te isolation of our country.
