Met my soul mate when he had a 4 month old daughter and had just gotten engaged to her mom. A year and a half later they had broken up and we were together. We've been together 11 years and married for 5, expecting our first child together in November!

Yep. Met as teenagers, reconnected as young adults and talked on and off for 5 years. When we were off it was due to a major blow out, distance or another relationship. But I believe that if it's meant to be, it's meant to be and always have faith. Because we never gave up, it finally worked out. We had been off for 2 years when I finally decided to look him back up. We had been working 2 blocks away from each other for over a year! ... And both getting out of horrible relationships. After reconnecting for the last time, we started dating and got married a year and half later. We are now expecting our first baby <3 One of my favorite quotes to sum up our relationship is 'falling in love is the easy part, it's the timing that's a bitch'.

I met my partner on a friday he moved in the next day saturday morning, everyone stated the obvious we were young and foolish but whos laughing at them nasty comments now 16 years down the line and strong as ever with one child together. I believe in love at first site you just click you just know. Before my partner i was with my childhood sweetheart i thought we would last forever but then i suddenly realised we were like brother and sister type not lovers and although id met my current partner at the wrong time giving up everything i had it was worth this. Ive never held regrets and managed to keep it civil with my childhood sweatheart which we both just laugh about it now. If youve met someone at the wrong time but it feels so right listen to your heart lifes too short to live unhappy upon regrets you didnt do anything.
