How often should your baby be moving?

I'm 23 weeks and I noticed my baby moves a little less. He still moves and kicks but idk why I feel like it hasn't been as often. Is that normal? At first he was so active but now he seems more laidback. I still feel him move everyday so it's not like I'm rushing to the ER with concerns but I was just curious if that is normal? Is it some kind of growth spurt?

You don't need to sit and count baby kicks until week 28, babies movement until that gestation are all over the place and just kick and move whenever they please 26-28 weeks (dependant on pregnancy) is when baby will have a certain routine of movement s

As long as you still feel him move I wouldn't feel too concerned when I was around 27 weeks I panicked and went to the ER because his movements dropped but they consider anything from 8-10 movements per hour normal. If you notice less than that give your doctor a call or try drinking something with sugar or caffeine
