How many months pregnant do you look 5 weeks after delivery?

I'm going to be in a wedding 5 weeks after I deliver. I'm 19 weeks pregnant now, up about 8 pounds, and wondering when a good time to go dress shopping would be. I don't want to wait until my belly is too big, but imagine I'll still have some belly to hide only 5 weeks post-baby so could be a good time to try on different dress cuts. Thoughts from those of you on the other side??

You may have a bit of a belly still but you won't have a pregnant looking belly might just be a bit of chub. I'm still up from my pre-pregnancy weight but my belly has been fairly flat since about 5 days pp.

My friend was in the same situation for my wedding. I let the girls all choose their own style. She chose this dress because it was so flows and was only fitted at the bust line, since she had no idea what size her tummy would be. Good luck!

Go for an empire waisted dress that has a flowier shape from the bust down. I am matron of honor in my cousin's wedding and ordered my dress while only 10 weeks pregnant. I tried it on again at 6 months when it came in. My bump was a good size and the dress hid it almost completely.

They have postpartum waist belts that you can buy that are supposed to help with healing and waist and pelvis reshaping. I will totally be getting one after I have my little boy, they have some pretty good deals on Amazon, couldn't hurt to try!
