Clomid/Femara
Hi guys I posted this on General TTC but I think now this is a better group for it! I have had 2 mc in the past year and a half, numerous tests done which all came back normal, except for my progesterone level this last cycle. It was 8.1 and my dr wants it at least a 10 to sustain a pregnancy. So the nurse calls me today and said the dr covering for my dr who's on vaca suggested trying Clomid. I'm okay with starting a medicine to help conceive but I am kinda confused. I have a cyst on my left ovary and I've been told not to take clomid with Ovarian cysts and I also ovulate every month. I'm unsure as to why he suggested Clomid and not Femara instead in an attempt to get extra follicles. Has anyone been in the same boat or ever even taken these meds? Just wanted some input before I go see my actual dr on March 31 and I will bring up the concerns with him also. Thanks!!
