I'm 13 and my boyfriend is 12, we don't kiss on the lips or anything past hugs really and we've been together for only a week. He gave me a kiss on the cheek today after us two and my friends hanged out at McDonald's

Having a boyfriend at a young age is absolutely ok. It's part of growing up and finding yourself.

The main purpose of dating or having a boyfriend is to find marriage. If you see a future with the relationship then I see no problem with it. Take the time to get to know him and see if he's who you really want to be with.

I'm 13 soon to be 14 (year 9) and I had my first relationship in year 7 (also nothing past hugs, holding hands and a kiss on the cheek) we broke up and I'm so glad I didn't do anything sexual.

There's nothing wrong with young love as long as it's not sexual.
I'm in a relationship with someone now and we do kiss but that's because over time it just happened.
You love your parents right?? So why not love another? As long as you feel like your ready, your old enough there's no rule or fact saying how old you have to be.
If I was you I'd speak to your mum no one knows you better then her X

You're going to be hearing a lot of people tell you no, you're to young but isn't that what being young is about? Most older people tell you no because as you get older relationships change from holding hands and kissing on the cheek to more adult things. Now a days kids your age are already having sex and pretending to be adults when they really don't know what that actually means. If your parents are okay with it and your not trying to play like you're a full grown woman I personally don't see the harm in it. Your not an adult but your not a baby either, just be smart and be honest with your parents or someone you trust about this if it turns into something more than what it is now. Ask for advice and actually listen when it's given to you. Adults are annoying when they tell you they know what's best but believe me at some point you will realize some of them were right
