Tampons moving?

Hey y'all I am a waitress so when I am on shift and I put on in. I wash my hands and go about my day but when it's time for me to take it out I feel like it moves cause it hurts to sit or bend over. I have been putting it in the same way since I started and it hasn't hurt like when I do when I run around like a chicken with my head cut off. Is there something I can do?
