Fussy Baby

So My LO is a week old and has been very Fussy and gassy...I was told that you shouldn't allow a women who's on their menstrural to hold her baby because it causes the baby to strain welp my sister came over and held my daughter without telling me her menstrural was on and now my baby has been fussy all not and making a straining notice ugh!! I gave her gripe water but what else is it that I can do...I hate this
