Anybody trying to lose weight before TTC?

Question

I've had a lot of losses and read that BMI can affect your hormones. I just had a D&C last week and decided to lose 40-50lbs before we TTC again. That would take me very firmly out of the "obese" category. Anyone in a similar boat? There is a group for this but it seems dead!

I am! 🙋🏼 just in the overweight category and trying to get into "normal". I lost 50 pounds last year and got pregnant immediately afterward. Unfortunately lost the baby, and in turn gained around 15 pounds back. So currently trying to lose what I gained and then some more!

I'm trying to lose 50 lbs before we ttc again! We had a mc in December. I weighed 194 and I now weigh 176! Still no luck conceiving but I am feeling better about myself

I'm not in the same boat but wanted to say good luck!! I think it's a great idea to get as healthy as you can before ttc and I know you can do it 😘

Hi! I'm sorry for your loss. I'm trying to loose some weight as well. I would like to loose 25-30lbs. I have PCOS so my weight is up and down and I have very irrugular periods. I go months without one.  I had a mc in Nov (i used clomid to ovulate) and decided to start working out and eating healthy in Jan. I was doing great! Then I found out I was pregnant again at the end of Jan... mc again (this time i ovulated on my own). Im now getting back to working out and healthy eating. Planning to try again in the summer. 
Are you using any program or you are doing it yourself?
