Water broke at 4am March 19. Admitted to the hospital at 5am and tried natural labor for 12 hours. Dilated only to 1.5 so oxytocin/ptocin was started. Contractions started off tolerable but after 5 hours and only making it to 2.5cm decided go with the epidural due to fatigue and pain getting quite strong every 2 min or so. Baby was finally ready at 4am March 20. Waited until the doc came and it was only a matter of minutes before he was here! Pushing was no problem and we have a beautiful and healthy baby boy. Only a small tear to the labia and some cramping but otherwise momma is feeling fine
