Tampons vs pads and trying to conceive

So I'm not sure where I heard it but I thought I read somewhere that using tampons lowers your risk of trying to conceive. Up until I had my daughter I used only pads! Then after she was born I started using tampons. I got pregnant with my daughter the first time he came in me but weve been trying to get pregnant since August and no luck so I was wondering if it had anything to do with using tampons! Had anyone else heard of this??
