Maternity leave ?

When are you girls taking maternity leave? In the uk we get 9 months paid leave but I know it's a lot less in other countries. This is my last baby so want to work up to more or less the end as I want the full 9 months off

I have to finish 6 weeks before due date then get another 6 weeks paid. I'm going to take it at half pay though so it lasts twice as long 😊

Wow, that's awesome!!! the USA is hella stupid when it comes to maternity leave. I work for the government and I only get paid for what I have saved (annual/sick leave). I do get up to 12weeks off without them being able to fire me but that's all unpaid 😒😒😒😒

But I will work until the day of/before I deliver so I can have the full 12weeks with little one 💕

I don't get maternity leave where I work so I'll have to work until I can't and then go back as soon as I can. But I have a pretty easy job and family to help

Yes uk and will work till day before. I'm saving my years holidays to take from 33 weeks though as my year runs aprilto April. I'll deliver at 37 weeks hopefully by planned c section.

I live in California. And we only get 4 weeks before your due date and 6-8 weeks after depending on if you have a csection. And they also offer (depending on your job) an additional 6 weeks to be used anytime in the first 12 months of the baby's life. All leave is at 60% of your regular pay!!
