Cleansing with sage

So I was cleansing my apartment with sage. Not because I felt bad vibes just because I get like doing it.... I forgot to open any Windows for doors for the negative energy and just as I finished the last square of the house BAM panic attack verryyy. Severe almost called the ems till I realized what it was. Anyone else experience anything like this? I'm think just a flow of negative energy with no where to go? What do you ladies think?
